After taking the record, patient are then rescheduled for a treatment discussion session few days to one week later. During those few days, the orthodontist will carefully analyze all the records collected to determine the best treatment that will address the patient’s chief compliant, maximizing patient benefits, and minimizing patient risks.

During the treatment presentation session, the orthodontist will present the best treatment plan and if possible, alternative plans.

The orthodontist and the patient will then jointly decide what course of treatment to follow. After determining the exact course of treatment, financial contract with the patient will be finalized and treatment initiated in that visit or the following visit.

If agreement cannot be reached, patient is then given a copy of their record after paying record duplication fee. Patient can then seek second opinion at another orthodontic office.
